Alistair Nitz is a family and dance photographer based in Franklin, Gungahlin (Canberra, Australia).

I am a father of two teenage kids. A reason in itself to take up photography as I needed an excuse to get out of the house.

Playing with cameras is a passion of mine. I am particularly in love with old film cameras and dream of getting a Pentax 67. It is a beast of a camera.

I love coffee, ice cream, and chocolate. I cannot get enough of chocolate and visit the Haigh store whenever we are in Sydney or Melbourne.

I have a garage full of bikes that I do not ride anymore. Damn that accident!!!

Sitting down after a busy day to watch a British TV cop series is the ideal way to spend an evening with my family. It would not be a surprise if I told you that ‘The Bill’ is my favourite TV show.

So that’s pretty much me. I love my wife, I love my family, I love my job, and did I tell you that I love coffee.
